The development of a nation’s consciousness through textbooks. Therefore, it is natural to reflect the thinking of majority of the people in the curriculum. But in our country syllabus has completely reversed it.
As a result of the continuous student-people movement, a few amendments were made to the text syllabus in 2017. But now we have noticed that after the change of syllabus. There has begun a conspiracy by some of the left-wing academicians. As part of that, a controversial committee was formed in the textbook review.
Today on 30th July’17 Sunday, at 11:00 am, the Central President GM Ruhul Amin of Islami Shasantantra Chhatra Andolan presided in front of the National Press Club presented a memorandum to Honorable Education Minister for demanding refutation of the controversial committee formed in the textbook review and reflection of the religious values of the majority of the people in syllabus.
He also said, “We were afraid seeing he Committee for evaluation of secondary syllabus that the honorable Education Minister appointed will not care about the public spirit as people do not have reliance on the committee members.” Therefore, the committee will be terminated immediately.
In the previous rally, the speakers said, “We have organized a movement along with the students and people of the country for the change of atheist syllabus.” Earlier we had sweat on the streets. If needed, our blood will sprinkle on the streets. Nevertheless, we will not allow any conspiracy to implement textual liberation. Later a memorandum submitted.
Central vice-president of Islami Shasantantra Chhatra Andolan Sheikh Fazlul Karim Maruf, Secretary General Sheikh Muhammad Saiful Islam, Joint Secretary General Muhammad Hasibul Islam, Central Organizing Secretary SM Amdadullah Fahad, Central Training Secretary Noman Ahmad, Information Research and Publicity Secretary Mohammad Ilias Hasan were in the program.
